General Motors has officially released the first teaser image of the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon.
Though it can be seen that the picture does not reveal much but it does confirm the mid-size trucks will feature a prominent grille and a rounded hood.
The company did not have much to say about the models as of now but described claimed that these models are capable, versatile and fuel-efficient alternatives to full-size trucks like the Ford F-150, Ram 1500 and the Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra. However the company did reveal that they will go into production at the assembly plant in Wentzville, Missouri next year in 2014.
As stated above not much detail is available about the models as of now, but they are expected to be heavily influenced by the Chevrolet / Holden Colorado that is already available in various international markets. The company did not reveal any detail about the power as well for the US-spec models but GM North America President Mark Reuss had previously said that “This is going to be a new truck – a new size of truck with a new set of powertrains.”
Well let us see how far the company is able to develop something new and when they reveal further info about the models.
