2017 marks Mopar’s 80th anniversary and the automaker is planning on commemorating the milestone all year long with unique events and new product intros. The year-long celebration will also consist of launching of new Mopar special-edition automobiles, with the first, the 2017 Dodge Challenger Mopar Edition, making its launching at the 2017 Chicago Auto Program.
An overall of 160 Challenger Mopar Editions will be developed, with the first 80 being completed in a two-tone Pitch Black/Contusion Blue plan and the others painted two-tone Black/Billet Silver. Other special exterior touches consist of a hand-painted Mopar 392 logo design, Pitch Black low-gloss accents, Hellcat exhaust tips and 20-inch aluminum wheels.
