19 kids and 2 adults were killed on a South African highway on Friday after a truck struck head-on into a school bus.
The truck driver was caught on dashcam footage attempting to illegally pass another truck over a double line on a two-lane highway outside Pongola before barreling into the bus.
The driver is facing charges of culpable homicide and negligent driving.
At first, he fled from the scene before turning himself into officials.
Children were aged between 5 and 12, the station said.
The two adult victims were reportedly the bus driver and another passenger.
It is yet to be known if anyone survived the crash.
