Three people died after a car crash involving four vehicles on Interstate 10 in Florida on Thursday afternoon.
The crash took place when one car was heading west before the driver lost control, crossed the median, and struck another car heading east. That resulted in a chain reaction where two other eastbound cars crashed.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person died at Madison County Memorial Hospital.
The interstate was both directions due to investigation and was later resumed.
Florida Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
Westbound traffic will also be closed for some time.
