Three people died in a car crash after their car flipped over and flew through the air before hitting a tree in Wisconsin.

The crash took place just before the afternoon on Tuesday on Highway H, west of Badger Drive.

The car was headed east on H before the driver lost control of the car. After that, the car went onto the right shoulder and into a ditch. It then flipped around and hit a grass driveway, which sent the car into the air.

The car flew for about 70 feet before hitting a tree roof-first.

All three people inside the car were pronounced dead at the scene.

The car may have been speeding.

Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash.
