Four people were killed and two others were injured after a multi-car crash that happened after a wrong-way crash at the Chester County/York County line on Sunday.
The vehicle crash took place on Interstate 77 south at 3:15 a.m., north of Highway 9.
Officials deemed it to be a three-car crash upon arrival.
One of the cars had flipped over.
The 32-year-old driver of a truck was traveling in the wrong direction. He was trapped in his vehicle and later succumbed to his injuries.
Three people were thrown from another car and were pronounced dead.
A fourth person was seriously injured.
All lanes on I-77 were resumed around 10:45 a.m. Sunday.
