At least 11 people were injured following a car crash into a food truck in Austin, Texas, food truck on Friday evening.
It was around 8:18 p.m. local time when two vehicles were involved in a “T-bone type collision,” which caused one of the vehicles being pushed into a group of individuals who were situated near the food truck, officials with the Austin-Travis County EMS, said in a news conference.
After ambulances attended the scene of the crash, the officials learned that nine of the individuals involved were admitted to nearby hospitals. Two others rejected medical attention.
Of those nine, two people are presently dealing with potentially life-threatening injuries, two are dealing with serious injuries, and five others had non-life-threatening injuries.
All of them are adults.
