Three people died after an overnight car crash in San Antonio, Texas.
The crash took place around 2 a.m. near Babcock Road and Clear Rock Drive, near Loop 1604, according to San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).
A backseat passenger was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver of a 2014 Jeep Cherokee was traveling northbound on Babcock Road. The vehicle went off the roadway striking into a large rock – rolled onto its roof, went airborne, and landed in a tree. The vehicle was driving at a high speed.
When police officers attended the scene, they saw the SUV crashed into a tree with three people ejected from it.
All three people were pronounced dead at the scene.
Their identities haven’t been revealed as of yet.
Babcock closed in both directions as the investigation into the crash continued.
