Ferrari revealed the new 296 GTS convertible, its fourth plug-in hybrid model as a part of the luxury automaker’s electrification plan.

It comes after Ferrari’s three earlier hybrid models that went into full series production including the SF 90 Stradale in 2019, its convertible version, named SF90 Spider, in 2020 and 296 GTB in 2021.

The 296 GTS is a convertible version, adjusted with a retractable hardtop, of the current 296 GTB, a luxury car that sells for around 300,000 euros ($325,000).

The two cars share a 6-cylinder (V6) mid-rear turbo engine combined with a 122 KW electric motor for a total of 830 hp, and 25 km of silent electric-only power.

Its top speed exceeds 330 km/h, according to the automaker.

Deliveries of the new model will begin from Europe in early 2023 and the price will be decided afterward.
