Nico Rosberg of Mercedes triumphed in the hectic 2013 British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
There were quite a few tire explosions that took place during the race and some of the greats such as Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), Felipe Massa (Ferrari) and Jean-Eric Vergne (STR-Ferrari) had to suffer because of the same.
Sebastian Vettel was in charge of the race for quite some time and it looked like he would make it quite easily but then his car got some mechanical failure and so had to retire. Safety Car returned and Rosberg very cleverly made his third pitstop fast which allowed him to maintain an advantage over Raikkonen. Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso made great progress during the closing stages of the race who eventually come second and third in the race.
Lewis still managed to take fourth position while Force India’s Adrian Sutil managed to snatch seventh place in the end.
