Audi R8 Spyder: first official images are here

Open-top version of the Audi R8 will be unveiled to the public next week at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Here we have first four images that somehow have “leaked” to the web.

So far we know that R8 Spyder will come only with the 5.2-liter V10 packing 525 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque.

The R8 Spyder has a traditional retractable soft top not a removable targa roof as speculated earlier. Compared to the coupe it has a different engine cover with two humps at the back, sideblades are replaced with air scoops.
