Senner Tuning have attended to all aspects of the Audi RS5 which includes the exterior, suspensions and even additional power. The existing engine is a 4.2-liter direct-injected V8 which has been modified for giving a power boost to 506 hp. That is 56 hp more than existing. The torque characteristic also has been boosted by 48 Nm or 36 lb ft to read 478 Nm or 353 lb ft post modification. This they have achieved by allowing the car to “breathe” more efficiently through a new, valve-controlled stainless steel exhaust system. The present acceleration characteristic of the car stands at 0 to 100 kmph or 62 mph in 4.2 seconds. This makes its half a second faster than the base or stock model specification.
The electronic sped limiter has been removed and this gives the car a freedom to hit top speeds of 280 kmph or 174 mph. There is also the option for those interested in speed to go for a tire swap giving the RS5 freedom to hit 300 kmph or 186 mph.
To allow for adjustable damping the Bilstein-sourced B16 PSS10 coilover kit is included in the package. This allows for the adjustable damping to be effective both on the compression and rebound cycles in 10 stages. For wheels there is the 225/30 rubber up front and 295/25 at the back, all of alloy.
For external looks there is the carbon fiber mirror casings, a new window frame finish and a blacked out honeycomb front grille. There is also the option of going for the cabin to be done up with carbon fiber and custom leather trim.
Cost of the entire work is €113,900 (or US $150,075). This includes all tax and registration charges as well. For customers owning an RS5 the cost would be €18,900 (US $24,903) for the conversion kit.
