BMW 1-Series sedan won’t be coming to US

by SpeedLux

BMW North America CEO Ludwig Willisch has recently revealed some new details about its future product lineup.

While giving an interview to the Automotive News, Willisch hinted that the company is currently working on a 1-Series Sedan but he further stated that it won’t be offered in the United States in the foreseeable future.

The news is certainly not a good one for the car lovers of US but the good thing is that can look forward to the arrival of the 1-Series GT. Willisch also said that the model will be versatile and good looking when it arrives in US in sometime after 2013.

On being asked about the company’s decision to rename the 3-Series Coupe and Convertible the 4-Series Coupe and Convertible, Willisch said that the new 4-series Coupe looks so different from the 3-Series that it might be called as 4 itself.
