We could be awestruck and need to be ready for surprises coming our way. The future is never predictable. As confirmed by Citreon, which has disclosed the official details on the new version DS4. If rumors are to be believed about this more powerful version and the potential to take on strong contenders in the same category like Volkswagen Golf R and Renaultsport may leave us with not asking for more. The possibility of the new Citroen DS4 becoming the hero of future racing cannot be ruled out, so please prepare yourself to be ready for giving a grand welcome to 2013.

Similar to the DS3-Racing, the future model will feature the plushest of interiors & exteriors which includes a two-tone exterior and on the interior – racing seats and a flat-bottomed steering wheel. Apart from these, there would also be the carbon finish on the front bumper, lower body trim and wing extensions, along with large 18 inch alloy wheels, chrome door handles and a chrome-finished exhaust system.

In addition, when it comes to power, Citroen will not be behind the best in class and therefore place the same engine used in the Peugeot RCZ – a 1.6 THP engine that delivers 200 HP. There are also some news making rounds about a hybrid version that will combine a 1.6-liter engine driving the front wheels and a 95bhp electric motor that powers the rears.
