Daimler expects fourth quarter vehicles profitability to rise

A Reuter’s report notes that Daimler‘s Chief Financial Officer Bodo Uebber stated the success of the Mercedes-Benz Cars department will increase considerably in the 4th quarter compared with a year-earlier duration, thanks to a raft of new high-end automobile designs.

“From today’s perspective Q4 will be a good quarter,” Uebber said on a call to talk about quarterly results on Friday.

Upon being asked if the vehicle department’s earnings before interest and tax will be considerably higher in the 4th quarter, Uebber stated, he agreed with that analysis.

The automaker further stated the autos department will take advantage of the presentation of its brand-new Mercedes E-Class as well as next year from a refreshed S-Class and brand-new versions of the E-Class, including a convertible and a coupe, hitting showrooms.
