A driver was killed in a car crash on Sunday morning near Exit 10 on the Bronx River Parkway, New York.

At 6:43 a.m., a Toyota Sienna minivan heading southbound on the Bronx River Parkway veered off the road and crashed into a tree near the exit ramp, according to Westchester County Police.

There was one passenger in the vehicle, who admitted to Jacobi Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

The southbound lanes remain closed in the vicinity of the Bronx River Road/Wakefield Avenue exit, and Westchester County Police is investigating the incident.
