Maserati has recently made an announcement regarding company’s plans to create a limited edition Quattroporte in joint effort with the Ermenegildo Zegna menswear company.

The company is celebrating its centennial in 2014 and it wants to do that in style and wants to offer something different and in limited numbers and so this idea of making a limited edition Quattroporte came up. The company has stated that the upcoming car will be reinterpreted and customized with new colors, materials and trims.

There are no images or videos released by Maserati as of now but the company has said that the model will feature fabrics that would be produced at the historic Lanificio Zegna wool mill in Trivero, Italy.

The company has also stated that since the car will be limited edition, only 100 units will be produced and the concept is expected to be unveiled in an upcoming auto show.

The company also has stated that in the year 2015, the Maserati models will be offered with a whole range of new optional trims by Zegna and in the year after that, which is 2016, the partnership will be further expanded to allow the customers to order “tailor-made solutions” for the models such as exclusive colors and trim for their Maserati cars.

Now that is what we call a huge and stylish celebration and Maserati car owners deserve such special treatment if they purchase the models of the company which has been in existence for so long and doing a fantastic work.
