Five dead after head-on car crash in Armstrong County
Five dead after head-on car crash in Armstrong County
Five people, including one juvenile, were killed following a head-on crash between a sedan and a pickup truck on US 287 near County Road 9 in Armstrong County, Texas on Wednesday afternoon.
It was about 4:30 p.m., when a white Chevrolet passenger car was traveling west in the eastbound lanes on US 287 and hit a pickup head-on.
Two people in the pickup truck and three occupants in the car were killed due to the crash.
East and westbound lanes of traffic were moving on the shoulders.
Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
