Four killed after multi-vehicle crash near Sedona in Arizona

Officials are attempting to identify four people who were killed in a fiery vehicle crash involving a passenger car and a tractor-tractor near Sedona.

Officials said the crash took place around 2:15 p.m. Sunday, September 18.

They said the driver of the big rig loaded with glass that the brakes failed, and the driver couldn’t stop when he got off I-17 at the Sedona exit.

After that, the semi-truck drove through a stop sign and crashed with a car, sending both vehicles down an embankment.

Tractor-trailer then landed on top of the car and engulfed.

The truck driver was able to escape uninjured, but four occupants of the car were trapped and pronounced dead at the scene.

Identities of the victims are yet to be released.

Arizona Department of Public Safety was investigating the crash.
