Four people, including a child, have been killed in a vehicle accident along the N11 between Ladysmith and Newcastle in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
“The crash involved three light motor vehicles. Unfortunately, four people have sustained fatal injuries. One of the deceased victims is a child. The exact cause of the accident is unknown and is being investigated by police,” said Robert McKenzie the spokesman of emergency services.
The deceased included a man, two women and a child.
The six injured were transported to a hospital.
KwaZulu-Natal has a history of deadly vehicle crashes. Another deadly crash that took place in KwaZulu-Natal this month involved the deaths of 8 people.
