Four people were killed and a fifth person was injured after a car crash in Newark, New Jersey on early Saturday.
Police were notified to Frelinghuysen Avenue and Evergreen Avenue just after 4:15 a.m., and the officials found that the crash involved a tractor-trailer and two cars.
About four people were trapped and were pronounced dead at the scene.
A fifth person was admitted to a local hospital in critical condition.
At least one of the victims was taken out from a vehicle wedged underneath the tractor-trailer.
Officials are investigating if speed played a role in the crash.
