Bugatti revealed the 16C Galibier concept last fall at a private event at the Bugatti headquarters in Molsheim. The basic architecture picks up on the torpedo-like character of the legendary Type 35, which was already revived in the 1001 horsepower Veyron.
Power comes from a 16-cylinder, 8-liter engine with two-stage supercharging. Power is sent to all four-wheels and expected power is somewhere around 800 horsepower. Plenty for any luxury high-performance sedan.
First concept that Bugatti showed featured a two-tone blue and silver paint scheme. Now Bugatti has released new images showing the 16C Galibier finished in black.
If different rumors are true, then the 16 C Galibier will go on sale in late 2012 or in early 2013.
