There may not be too many people that have ever heard of the automaker GTA. Well, this is an automaker that is based in Spain. The company seems to be well capable of making and delivering high performance vehicles. As a matter of fact, the Spanish automaker has just teased a new vehicle model that it is referring to as the Spano. The car will reportedly take one of the stages at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show event.
Report has it the 2015 GTA Spano is going to boast at least 925 bhp of power output and 1,220 Nm of torque in total. Such huge power and torque come from a massive 8.0L V10 engine that lies beneath the engine bay of the vehicle. As it turns out, this engine has been developed by the Spanish automaker itself. Thanks to such a massive engine, it is a piece of cake for the 2015 Spano from GTA to tackle 0-100km/h acceleration within only 2.9 seconds. If that does not sound cool enough, the car actually has a top speed of 370 km/h. This makes the car even more powerful than its predecessor. Speaking of the predecessor, it comes with an 8.4L V10 engine with supercharger. It takes 3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h and its top speed lies at the mark of 350 km/h.
Yet, just for your information, the new GTA Spano is not all about performance. The car also comes with a completely new body that is now made of titanium, Kevlar, carbon fiber and the grapheme material. The latter is a sort of thin pure carbon layer.
Taking a look at the teaser image of the car released by the Spanish automaker, it can be seen that the 2015 GTA Spano is going to feature LED taillights. In addition to that, there are also going to be plenty of carbon fiber components, an aggressive rear diffuser, dual exhaust pipes on each side of the rear fascia and also a trunk lid spoiler. It is said that there will only be 99 examples of this vehicle model in particular ever built.
