Jaguar Considering to produce up to 50 Jaguar XKR-S GT’s

Jaguar had earlier planned to produce just 30 units of its limited edition new car Jaguar XKR-S GT when the car debuted in New York Auto Show 2013 and these units were to be sold in US and Canada.

But the car has received very good response in the recently concluded show and as a result of which the company has decided to increase the production to 50 units if the demand arises for them. Jaguar boss Adrian Hallmark confirmed that the plant had the capacity to make 50 units and if required all 50 units would be made.

The Jaguar XKR-S GT features 5.0-liter V8 turbocharged engine capable of producing 542 hp. The car had completed the Nurburgring lap in just 7 minutes and 40 seconds.
