Jaguar XJ220 listed on eBay for sale

by Alex

If you just can’t wait while Jaguar toys with the idea of whether to really build the XJ220 supercar, here is one option for you that can actually let you lay your hands on one of these. The new XJ220, a US legal model, is listed for sale on eBay at a price of $189,000.

Powering the XJ220 is a race derived 3.5 liter V6 engine delivering a total of 542 HP, which is enough to propel the car to a top speed of 220 mph. It can pick-up from standing still and zoom past 60 mph in almost no time, requiring just about 3.5 seconds to do this. This also makes the sedan the fastest road car on earth at the time. Not to forget the XJ220 is also the widest car, ever built by Jaguar, as wide as nearly 7 feet.

What makes XJ220 a real collectible for a sports car fan is its limited availability as only 281 units have been manufactured. The beautiful sedan comes in Spa Silver color with two sets of rims and new Michelin Pilot Sports. XJ220 has 5,281 miles on it and is available for sale in Tiburon, CA, United States. The customers can continue to buy the old version of XJ220 while Jaguar is deciding about the new version of XJ220.
