Legacy Power Wagon Conversion is Three Tons of vintage American iron

Legacy Classic Trucks in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, have come at SEMA Auto show with their 4-foor variant Legacy Power Wagon. The vehicle is a Dodge Power Wagon built between 1945 and 1980, based on older military style. The Legacy Power Wagon which can be seen below comes at hefty price tag of $185,000.

The customer can choose from either a 426-cubic-inch V8 with 425 horsepower from the Mopar parts book or a 3.9-liter Cummins turbo diesel four cylinder delivering a 480 pound-feet of torque, and delivering 23 mpg from its 3.9-liter Cummins turbo-diesel powertrain and can cruise along at 75 mph. According to the Legacy people this one has been touched up a little and the torque is in the 500 ft/lb range at 1400 RPM. The transmission is an Allison five speed automatic, the wheels are Continental MPT 81 rollers, industrial type tires and much more.

Winslow Bent the man behind “Legacy Classic Trucks” says , A lot of our clients aren’t car people,” Bent said as he stood next to the four-door Power Wagon. “Primarily, they are second-home owners who want something to complement their ranch”.
