Leonardo DiCaprio obviously already set his sights on Mars. DiCaprio informed during a talk with President Obama about environment change that he has signed up for going to Mars on Elon Musk’s first journey there. Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors and Space X, plans to get human beings to Mars as quickly as 2025, with a supposedly high threat of dying.
DiCaprio stated this while talking to Obama and the climate scientist Dr. Katharine Hayhoe as part of the South by South Lawn event at the White House. The 3 talked about environment change prior to the best of DiCaprio’s new documentary on the topic, “Before the Flood.”
Musk and the Mars trip came up while Hayhoe was describing the need to get regular individuals to connect to the reality of climate change and its impacts.
” The reality of it is, if you’re a human living on this world – which many of us are, yeah?” Hayhoe joked. “As long as we have not registered for the trip to Mars. I do not need to know if anybody has, I think you’re crazy.”
That’s when DiCaprio confessed of the Mars trip, “I did.”
While the scientist attempt to guarantee the star that he’s not really crazy, the president deadpanned, “I think you’ll acknowledge he’s crazy.”
