Nissan GT-R Nismo teased, suggests it could be the fastest around the Nurburgring

by SpeedLux

Nissan had recently announced its plans to introduce the GT-R Nismo at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show and now in order to support their claim they have released a mysterious teaser video called “1.”

The clip which is of just five seconds doesn’t show the car in it but it zooms in on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and flashes the number one. This could very well imply that the car has set a new lap record but nothing has been confirmed by the company officials as of yet. If this is the case, the GT-R Nismo would have drastically improved on its previous performance of 7:28 lap time and could very well have beaten the Porsche 918 Spyder’s time of 6 minutes and 57 seconds.

Whatever the case may be, the GT-R Nismo is expected to come fitted with a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that would generate an output of at least 570 hp (425 kW) and so we can expect the model to make the above mentioned record.

The Tokyo Motor Show will start off from November 20th and so we can expect to learn more shortly about the model.
