Nissan Motor said on Monday its April sales in China increased 1.1% from a year earlier to 122,846 vehicles, as the country is recovering from the coronavirus.

Overall auto sales increased 4.4% in April, data from the country’s biggest auto industry body, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), showed.

China’s lockdown to control the spread of the coronavirus has affected automakers and factories in the country and automaker such as Ford, Volkswagen and others have reported increase in sales in China during the month of April.
