Several sample photos showing the next generation of the Nissan X-Trail are doing the rounds of the internet.
With sale set to start sometime next year, the new X-Trail looks similar to the Hi-Cross Concept unveiled by Nissan at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. If these sample drawings turn out to be real, the X-Trail will give up its rough look and adopt a considerably more attractive design.
There are also reports that Nissan will offer the new model with a third-row seating option.
With a 2780mm (109.4 inches) wheelbase, the concept was 4660mm (183.4 inches) long, 1850mm (72.8 inches) wide and 1670mm (65.7 inches) tall. It has a hybrid engine consisting of a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor working together to offer just about the same performance as a 2.5-liter unit.
Since Detailed specifications and performance of the car is still a mystery, only thing right now we can do is to wait till the Geneva show begins.
Till then stay tuned and enjoy the picture gallery.
