One dead, four injured after car crash near Mason

A woman died and four others were injured after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday on the Katy Freeway feeder at Mason Road in Texas.

The crash took place when a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a Dodge Charger crashed at the intersection. The Dodge Ram then struck into a signal light pole causing the bed and rear axle to disconnect and the main cab to roll over.

Four people were inside the Dodge Ram.

A female was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other people inside the pickup were admitted to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Dodge Challenger was also admitted to the hospital.

It is yet to be know what exactly caused the crash.
