If word on the street is true, the French automaker, Peugeot, should be working on a new vehicle model. However, there has yet to be any news in regards to the model so far. Yet, this does not necessarily mean that the French automotive marquee is simply relaxing at the moment. In fact, an image has been spotted recently and the image seems to depict a facelifted version of the French automaker’s 208 vehicle lineup.
As it turns out, the image comes from a magazine that calls itself the Auto Journal. Someone has been kind enough to scan the said image and uploaded it to the World Wide Web. Judging by the look of the vehicle in the image, chances are, it is the Peugeot 208 facelift indeed. Moreover, there have now been more images of the vehicle in question added to the interweb.
For those who remember correctly, the French automotive marquee actually took the veil off its upcoming 208 vehicle model back in the year 2011, when the year was about to come to its end. But there had been no more words on the car, until recently. In the leaked images, the car seems to sport new headlamps, a redesigned front grille, new fog lamps, newly designed wheels, and also 2-tone (orange-black) paint job for the exterior.
Now, this has been the first time since 2011 that we come to hear about this particular vehicle model from Peugeot yet again. Unfortunately, there are not too many details to share at the moment. Also, since it was first introduced three years ago, it is only appropriate for the French company to revise the vehicle once again, at least in some sections, such as technical or visual aspect. This will only make the new Peugeot 208 look more appealing to potent buyers. Lastly, it is probable that the car will debut at the Geneva Motor Show event this year.
