This Porsche Panamera Swims in Pond

There have been plenty of cases in which supercar owners end up in the most unexpected places while driving their car. The driver of this Porsche Panamera is one good example here. Believe it or not, he drives his Porsche Panamera into a pond. This very unfortunate incident takes place in China.

Well, it seems that not everyone out there may have a good start for the year 2015. The Chinese driver of the Porsche Panamera 4S somehow drove his car into a pond in China. To be more exact, the incident took place at Chaozhou, at the province of Guangdong.

Based on reports published by the local media, the luxury German sports car was initially parked besides a particular square outside a college building. Unfortunately, the surface of the road was very slippery at the time and somehow, unexpectedly, the driver of the car could not keep control of his vehicle. So, as he was driving away, the vehicle slipped into the nearby pond instead.

The Porsche Panamera 4S in question ended up being partially submerged in the water. However, it is believed that there is quite a good chance the car may still survive, suffering from only very minor damages. If the car does survive, it will be a very good luck for the owner. The asking price for the car in China starts from 1.39 million Chinese Yuans, or equivalent to approximately $224,000. For information, that price is a lot higher compared to the price of the vehicle in the US. US customers can get their hands on the car for just $98,300 as the base price. This is seemingly due to the numerous taxes that the Chinese government applies on import vehicles.
