BMW Sports Coupe rendered by Russian designer

by Alex

Russian designer Krasnov Igor had thrilled us with his design of the Marussia Muska supercar. Since then he had hibernated and now has risen from slumber to attach his flair for exotic and extravagant designing ways to the BMW supercar.

One can notice the touch of the GINA Light visionary concept along with a mix of the BMW genre cars like the 328 Roadster in this present creation named the BMW Sports Coupe. The outer skin of the Sports Coupe is much alike that of the GINA concept car. The skin which is a flexible cover made of textile and stretches across a substructure that is moveable. This skin has the functions that remain hidden from view unless there is specific requirement for them. The Sports Coupe has a tall double kidney grille which makes it look like a bulkier or heavier version of the 328 as far as the front end is concerned.

That the design is very much on the radical side, that’s for sure and which also happens to be a trademark of this designer. The design also raises the issue of whether BMW would be right in stepping into the world of supercar or not.
