Now that the Seat Leon is out on the roads, enthusiast are more keen to find out when will be the CUPRA version be coming out. The reports state that Seat, The Spanish based manufacturer has revealed the first details on the Cupra Version ahead of its public display at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March 2013 ina Three-door Version, and in the very same year the company will reveal the Estate version at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

The rumors suggest that the new Cupra could even offer less than the 260 hp of the outgoing Cupra R, using a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, but the sources point out that vehicle will be significantly lighter, which should allow it to at least to match the performance of the vehicle on sale now. And as for the handling, the new model will come with wider tracks. One of the most important changes is that SEAT is planing to give us the Leon in three forms: the SC (3-door hatchback), the five-door hatch, as well as the ST (wagon). All three will have Cupra versions, with the last one set to compete with the Ford Focus ST Estate.
