Smart, an automaker that is owned by Mercedes-Benz, a luxury automaker from Germany, has released a couple of images only recently. It is believed that these images depict the company’s upcoming ForTwo Brabus vehicle model. If reports are to be believed, the car will be making its world debut at this year’s Geneva Motor Show event as well, along with dozens of other vehicles from automakers around the globe.
Designed as a 2015 model year vehicle, the car is going to sport an updated bumper on its rear fascia, to begin with. In addition to that, however, there are also going to be a pair of redesigned side skirts and dual exhaust pipes mounted at the middle section of the rear bumper.
Taking a closer look at the official images released by the German company, the car can be noticed featuring a sporty atmosphere inside its cabin. There are even unique accents as well, such as a 2-tone color applied onto the leather seats. In addition to the 2-tone color, the seats also feature contrasting stitches. Yet, on the floor mats as well as on the door sill plates, Brabus branding is noticeable.
Unfortunately, the German automaker thinks that it is not the time yet to reveal the spec sheet that the car is going to offer. Nonetheless, referring to recent reports and rumors regarding this particular vehicle, chances are, the 2015 Smart ForTwo Brabus will boast 120 PS of power output at its peak performance. This power is expected to come from the 0.9L 3-cylinder turbo engine installed within the engine bay of the car.
Well, although Smart is keeping its lips tight when it comes to power output, the company has actually confirmed that the car will consume only 5.2 liters of fuel for every 100 kilometers traveled. In addition to that, the CO2 emission will not exceed 119 g/km.
