SRT has recently revealed more details about the limited-run Viper Time Attack that was introduced in this years New York Auto Show.
Coming with a curb weight of 3,390 lbs (1,537 kg), the TA edition has been upgraded including a race-tuned suspension featuring a two-mode Bilstein DampTronic setup. The companys engineers have retuned the shocks, springs, sway bars and they also installed a lighter X-brace made from carbon fiber.
The braking kit consist of two-piece, 32mm wide Brembo high-thermal capacity rotors while the Advanced Aerodynamics Package has carbon fiber front splitters and a rear spoiler to generate more downforce at higher speeds. The Viper Time Attack now sits on lightweight Sidewinder II wheels well wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.
Under the hood, power would be provided by the same V10 8.4-liter engine outputting 640 hp (477 kW) and 600 lb-ft (814 Nm) of torque.
Production has already started at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, while the deliveries are expected to start later this year. Only 159 cars will be made of which 93 units will come with a bespoke “TA Orange” paint, 33 units will be painted in “Venom Black” while the remaining 33 cars will feature a “Bright White” hue.
