The Tokyo Auto Salon is currently welcoming as many visitors as possible from around the world. Realizing that the event is a perfect occasion to show off its new vehicles and at the same time potentially attracting potent buyers, the Japanese automaker, Subaru, is trying to get the most out of the event. After revealing several models earlier, the company has once again shown off its latest creation at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon event, the Subaru XV Sport Concept.
The car tries to gain attention in the event with Subaru’s Sunrise Yellow paint job applied onto its exterior. In addition to that, the car also comes with quite a sporty look that comes as a result of the Japanese automaker installing a black surround for the front grille of the vehicle. Air intakes made of the carbon fiber material can also be seen available on the lower part of the front fascia of the car. If those are not enough, the vehicle also sports redesigned side skirts, a decreased height, a rear spoiler, a set of 17-inch alloy wheels tidily wrapped in the tires by Yokohama, and also wheel arch extensions that are made of the carbon fiber material.
Stepping into the cabin of the car, customers can also see a combination of the yellow and black colors. They are shown clearly on the two-tone seats of the car. Then, there are also yellow contrasting stitches with matching floor mats for the vehicles, two-tone color trim, embroidered headrests and also alloy pedals.
Under the hood of the XV Sport Concept, Subaru has installed a pretty capable 2.0L engine. This engine comes with a maximum power output that is rated at 150 PS. As for its torque, it is rated at 196 Nm, which is really not so bad at all, to be honest.
