Late in December 2014, the Japanese automaker, Suzuki, decided to preview its upcoming Alto Turbo RS concept vehicle. Now, as the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon welcomes public from around the globe, the Japanese company has decided to officially unveil the vehicle completely. So, right now, the vehicle can be seen at the automotive exhibition event currently held in Japan.
Looking at the final shape of the concept that is currently bowing to the Tokyo public, it is quite obvious that the concept vehicle is heavily based on the 8th generation Suzuki Alto. However, the concept vehicle has been treated with an aggressively looking wide body kit, smoked headlamps featuring LED daytime running lights, red accents, roof spoiler, body decals and a set of rather muscular skirts on both sides of the vehicle. In addition to all those elements, the concept vehicle also sits firmly on a set of 17-inch alloy wheels from OZ. Unfortunately, only the exterior parts of the vehicle are visible right now as there have yet to be any interior photos available. It has been revealed, though, that the vehicle carries Recaro bucket seats.
For the sake of its performance, the Japanese kei car from Suzuki comes with a 0.66L 3-cylinder engine that is backed up by a turbocharger. Exact figures in terms of the peak power and torque that the engine can possibly spit out remain a mystery at the moment. However, according to reports from a number of media out there on the web may very well suggest that the Japanese automaker in question has treated the suspensions of the vehicle with heavy modifications. Thanks to these heavy modifications by Suzuki, it is believed that the Suzuki Alto Turbo RS is capable of offering customers with quite a good handling.
