Three bishop teenagers killed after car crashed into canal in California

A Thursday night single-vehicle accident resulted in the deaths of three Bishop teenagers after the vehicle they were traveling in crashed into a canal south of Poleta Road in California.

While the identities of the victims were not released by California High Patrol (CHP), their ages were listed as 19, 16, and 15.

The crash took place when the driver of a silver Honda Accord was traveling southbound on a dirt road, south of Poleta Road. After that the driver allowed the vehicle to travel to the right, off the road. The vehicle then overturned into a canal, becoming submerged.

The driver and the two passengers died following the crash.

CHP is still investigating the crash.
