Three people were killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Ponce De Leon, Florida.
The crash took place at about 7:45 a.m. when a car left the roadway and hit a tree, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The two men and a woman were killed in the wreck. They were not using seatbelts. Troopers have identified the victims as a 20-year-old woman from North Miami Beach, an 18-year-old man from Miami, and a 25-year-old man from Homestead.
The driver, a 21-year-old man from Hialeah, and a passenger, a 30-year-old man also from Hialeah who was sitting in front, were admitted to a hospital. Their condition is serious.
According to the officials, the driver was tired and fell asleep causing the car to drift off the road. Later the vehicle crashed with two trees. The three passengers were ejected during the accident.
