Three killed after car crash in New Hyde Park

Three people were killed after a car crash involving an intoxicated driver left the passengers dead and others injured on Saturday night in New Hyde Park, New York.

A Lincoln Town Car with a driver and five passengers was hit outside The Inn at New Hyde Park by a 2012 Mercedes-Benz sedan which only had a driver.

Three female passengers of the Lincoln were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and other passengers of the Lincoln were hospitalized.

Their condition is stable.

A 22-year-old identified as Dante Lennon, of Freeport, was arrested and charged with three counts of vehicular manslaughter, vehicular assault, and driving the car while intoxicated.

He was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
