Two killed after two-vehicle crash in Sacramento

Two people were killed after their car was hit by another vehicle traveling at a high speed on Saturday morning in Sacramento, California.

The crash took place at an intersection on Stockton Boulevard, just north of 65th at about 8:50 a.m.

Officers were present in the area of Stockton Boulevard and 47th Avenue when they observed two vehicles driving recklessly.

The officers were in a marked vehicle and they attempted to stop the speeding vehicles and it led to a short pursuit.

One of the reckless cars crashed with a vehicle that didn’t concern the chase.

Two people died in the crash.

The driver of the high-speed vehicle had significant injuries.

The other vehicle fled and is yet to be found.

One victim was identified as Tien Le, a 46-year-old woman from Sacramento.

Sacramento Police Department and California Highway Patrol are investigating the crash.
