Three killed after car crash in northeast Iowa

Three teenagers were killed after a car crash in Dubuque, Iowa.

The crash took place when an 18-year-old identified as William L. Wodrich IV, of Dubuque, was driving at a high rate of speed south on the Northwest Arterial before he lost control, went into the ditch, and his 2014 Chevy Camaro rolled.

This crash took place around 1:21 am on Friday.

Wodrich and two passengers, identified as Kennedy Elizabeth Elskamp, 17 of Dubuque, and Chloe Madison Lucas, 17 of Dubuque, died in the crash.

Iowa State Patrol is investigating the crash.

The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and Dubuque police and fire have assisted with the investigation so far.
