Two people were killed and three others were injured after a car crash between a train and a vehicle in Atascosa County, Texas on Friday morning.
The crash took place around 7:15 a.m. on Strawberry City Road close to Highway 281, just east of Poteet when the southbound train crashed with the vehicle, and two adults in the vehicle died.
Three juveniles in the vehicle were hospitalized and their conditions are unknown at this time.
The train’s crew was not harmed.
The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
