Three killed after two-vehicle crash in Butler County

Three people died after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday night in Butler County, Kansas.

The crash took place in Southeast Highway 54 and Southeast Highway 177, near El Dorado.

One vehicle crossed the center line and hit the other.

When officials attended the crash site, they saw the first vehicle engulfed in flames and pronounced both of its occupants dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle has been identified as 69-year-old James W. Larcum of Eureka. He was pronounced dead at the scene as well.

Butler County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
