Three people were killed and one person was injured after a single-vehicle crash in Clay County, Indiana on Saturday afternoon.

The officials responded to the crash along Interstate 70 westbound just after 2 p.m. on January 8.

The initial investigation showed that Glen A. Jackson, 58, was driving westbound on I-70 when, because of icy road conditions, he lost control of the vehicle.

The car then traveled off the interstate and rolled before hitting a tree.

Three people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Indiana State Police identified the victims as Glen A. Jackson, Rose M. Jackson, 57, and Amber Johnson, 35, all of New Madrid, Missouri.

One juvenile was hospitalized non-life-threatening injuries.
