Toyota Aygo Facwlift 2012

by David Bond

The Japanese based automaker Toyota has just unveiled the facelifted version of the small Aygo, and the model is expected to be presented to the public at the 2012 Brussels Motor Show.

While some automakers are busy with the New Delhi Auto Expo going on these days or with the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, others are busy with the European automotive event, the Brussels Motor Show, which is scheduled to begin later this month. The Toyota Aygo facelift will be officially presented to the public at the upcoming Brussels Motor Show, and its completing the trio made which is including the Citroen C1 and the Peugeot 107.

In the cabin, Toyota has given the dashboard a new dark grey finish and fitted a leather trimmed steering wheel.

Additional sound deadening and subtle tweaks to the suspension should help ensure the Aygo is quieter and more comfortable on the move too.
According to the car manufacturer, the Toyota Aygo facelift is now emitting less CO2 from the 1.0 liter three-cylinder engine, from 105 g/km to 99 g/km, and this actually qualifies the model for free road tax and the exemption from London’s Congestion Charge. Besides emitting less CO2, the Toyota Aygo facelift with the 1.0 liter unit is also consuming less fuel, from 61.3 mpg to 65.7 mpg (UK), while its power remains unchanged, at 67 horsepower. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 14.2 seconds and its starting price has increased to 8.590 GBP.

So if you want something beautiful, easy and relaxing to drive there you have it: The Toyota Aygo facelift!
