Two people died following a wrong-way crash on Monday on I-39 south of Wausau, Wisconsin.
The driver of the car hit another vehicle in a head-on crash.
The crash took place at about 11:15 p.m.
Police say a 27-year-old woman was driving north in a southbound lane and hit a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old woman.
Both drivers died after the crash.
Their identities haven’t been released as of yet.
The crash led to the shut down of both southbound lanes of I-39 at Bus. Highway 51 and one northbound lane close to Maple Ridge Road.
These lanes of I-39 were resumed by Tuesday.
