Two people were killed after a three-vehicle crash on Highway 156, California on Saturday.
The crash took place around 10:45 p.m. when the officials attended the crash on the eastbound lanes of the freeway when a 1995 Honda Accord crossed the double yellow line into the eastbound lanes after which the vehicle crashed with an oncoming eastbound 2020 Nissan Moreno head-on.
Afterward, the Honda continued west in the eastbound lanes and also hit a Tesla.
A 71-year-old man and his 63-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of the victims were not released.
California Highway Patrol is yet to figure out what circumstances contributed in the crash.
